Remember those that come after you. Stand shoulder to shoulder.

  • Dr. Minero has 10 years of experience mentoring students and youth, particularly those navigating the many barriers that exist for first-generation, undocumented, queer and trans, and communities of color in higher education. One of her missions is to reduce the systemic, violent, and oppressive barriers that limit educational opportunities for these communities. Dr. Minero recognizes and honors the many mentors that have been instrumental to supporting her on her own educational journey. She has mentored students and youth individually and collectively and has co-founded various scholarship funds that have directly supported the educational journeys of undocumented students. Please see below for various resources.
She is always open to sharing successful masters, PHD, post-doc and fellowship applications if you contact her directly in hopes of successfully getting more incredible, brilliant and historically under-supported students through the education pipeline.
